Terms of sale
These terms apply when you buy a SkaldVault license key on this site. The free version needs no purchase and no account.
Seller
The seller is Thomas Stokke, Street, postcode and city, Norway. Questions and complaints go to privacy@skaldvault.com.
What you buy
A license key for SkaldVault: a code that unlocks the full version of the software (unlimited watched folders, a subfolder per game and your own file names) on up to five machines you own, for as long as the software exists. It is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
Prices and payment
The price is shown before you pay, in US dollars, and includes VAT where VAT applies to you. Payment is taken by Stripe on their payment page; your card details never reach this site. A discount shown with an end date applies until that date.
Delivery
The key is delivered at once, as soon as the payment is confirmed: it appears under Licenses on your account page and is sent to your email address. Nothing is shipped.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU/EEA you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. For digital content delivered at once, that right ends when delivery begins, provided you asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal. By paying, you ask for the key to be delivered at once and acknowledge this. If you change your mind and have not activated the key, write to us within 14 days and we refund the purchase anyway, as a courtesy.
License terms
The key is personal. You may use it on up to five machines at a time and free a seat on your account page to move to another machine. You may not sell, share or publish the key. A key that is shared publicly or obtained through a chargeback may be revoked. The software is provided as is; we fix what is reported, but do not promise that every game, launcher or cloud service works in every setup.
Refunds
If the software does not work on your machine and we cannot fix it, you get your money back: write to us within 30 days of the purchase with what you tried. A refund revokes the key.
Complaints
Something wrong? Email us first; most things are sorted in a day or two. Consumers in Norway can take an unresolved complaint to Forbrukertilsynet; consumers elsewhere in the EU can use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Consumer protection rules in your own country that cannot be waived apply as well.
Personal data
What is stored about you and why is described in the privacy notice.
